The House Of Gucci started from humble beginnings in 1920. Guccio Gucci opened a small shop in Florence, Italy featuring his fine leather goods accessories for men and women. Aldo relegated control of Parfums to his son Roberto in an effort to weaken Rodolfo’s control of the overall operations of the company.
